Relaxed.

So.... I was going through Target one day and happened upon the most perfect distressed jeans I've ever owned. The quality was just great and the fit was exactly what I've been looking for. I couldn't believe it! I have never minded investing in jeans, because when I'm not dressed for work I wear jeans probably way to much, but to find them for twenty-dollars and for them to be just what I've been looking for, it was a win. My only regret is that I didn't get a backup pair!
These are definitely my new go-tos, I've been outfitting them like crazy. I paired them with my chenille tunic and simple sandals. This is a super relaxed look that can be easily worn during the day or out at night.

Street chic.

I feel like a cool Mommy in this outfit! As a mom to two amazing little boys, this outfit was inspired by my little guys, but it it also is right in line with my style.

This fall and winter I have loved having practical pieces. Things that are easy to put on but still make a bit of statement. My Timberland boots are my statement, and the denim jacket, gray t-shirt, and white trouser are always practical for me.

What's also awesome about this look, is it is easy to match up with my boys when we are going out. I am thoroughly enjoying that they both don't mind Mommy copying their style.

Party!

Its celebration time! It's the season where we buy and exchange gifts, reflect on all the things we have to be grateful for, and things we possibly want to improve or change, and to decide what we are going to wear of course!

I always love a white moment at a holiday party, especially since black and red can be the normal. Nothing wrong with that, but sometimes I just want to do the unexpected.

(My dress and jacket are actually off white and I can wear them through out the year because the fabrics are just the right texture and weight for warm or cooler months.)

State of mind.

December and winter make me think of New York. Honestly, my mind has thought of NYC since I visited two months ago, that city truly has a "pulse".

I was so enchanted with the culture, how it flowed so busy all the time but everything had a place so it felt strangely calm.

My favorite thing about the city, was the style. Everything from the clothes, hair, shoes and that " be who you are" attitude. It felt like without ever living there, I came away seeing the true beauty of what NYC had to offer and felt a undeniable connection.

Clean.

Clean and simple just never gets old to me. So good that minamilism is also fashion forward. I absolutely love a great jumper! It breaks the expectancy of a dress or seperates, and stating the obvious, it's easy. The one criteria for any jumper is proper fit. I purchased this one at Tjmaxx some time ago but you can find them in all different styles in varies stores.
