Pop.

Somethings just make an outfit. And accessory should be something that you can show off a bit, a conversation starter at times, and should be one of a kind. They give that "Pop" to an outfit and quickly draws the eyes to whats shiny and colorful.
I honestly can be particular of what accessory I choose to wear with any outfit because I like it to say the right thing so when I find ones that stand out to me and truly compliments whatever look I'm going for at that moment, I am a happy lady.
I got this tribal necklace from www.accessory-queen.com. Boutiques, I have found are a great way to find one of a kind pieces. This online accessory boutique is based in LA and has a selection of accessories that are eye catching, fashion forward and at a great price point.
I paired my necklace with all black, my favorite jacket, and simple heels. This outfit is always worth me repeating but if I change the statement necklace out it completely changes the look and makes it a bit less interesting.

Party!

Its celebration time! It's the season where we buy and exchange gifts, reflect on all the things we have to be grateful for, and things we possibly want to improve or change, and to decide what we are going to wear of course!
I always love a white moment at a holiday party, especially since black and red can be the normal. Nothing wrong with that, but sometimes I just want to do the unexpected.
(My dress and jacket are actually off white and I can wear them through out the year because the fabrics are just the right texture and weight for warm or cooler months.)

State of mind.

December and winter make me think of New York. Honestly, my mind has thought of NYC since I visited two months ago, that city truly has a "pulse".
I was so enchanted with the culture, how it flowed so busy all the time but everything had a place so it felt strangely calm.
My favorite thing about the city, was the style. Everything from the clothes, hair, shoes and that " be who you are" attitude. It felt like without ever living there, I came away seeing the true beauty of what NYC had to offer and felt a undeniable connection.

Sahara.

Skinny pants, bodysuit tops, and desert tones... I could take a closet full of. I'm loving flesh tone ensembles as of late, the multi faceted "Sahara" shades can be flattering on most skin tones. And so easy to merge into my wardrobe for a twist on a mon-chromatic look.
My brim hats have been my absolute favorite fall accessory this year. This one happens to be my husbands but I love his more than mine because its slightly oversized and seems to look better on me than my female hats that fit on the snug side.

Simplicity.

A White button up, distressed denim, and my go to fall/winter booties all sound like a recipe to a look that is simple and always a win in my book. I'm such a sucker for this, because its pretty timeless, and transitions so well from season to season, the sleeves can easily be rolled up ( as well as the jeans) the booties can be replaced with a strappy sandal and truly the combinations to dress this look up or down are endless.
My go to boot this season are these Western fringe leather booties that have made my simple looks "pop" just a bit more.
