Sahara.

Skinny pants, bodysuit tops, and desert tones... I could take a closet full of. I'm loving flesh tone ensembles as of late, the multi faceted "Sahara" shades can be flattering on most skin tones. And so easy to merge into my wardrobe for a twist on a mon-chromatic look.
My brim hats have been my absolute favorite fall accessory this year. This one happens to be my husbands but I love his more than mine because its slightly oversized and seems to look better on me than my female hats that fit on the snug side.

Simplicity.

A White button up, distressed denim, and my go to fall/winter booties all sound like a recipe to a look that is simple and always a win in my book. I'm such a sucker for this, because its pretty timeless, and transitions so well from season to season, the sleeves can easily be rolled up ( as well as the jeans) the booties can be replaced with a strappy sandal and truly the combinations to dress this look up or down are endless.
My go to boot this season are these Western fringe leather booties that have made my simple looks "pop" just a bit more.

Retro.

Vintage shopping was a bit of a hobby of mine about five plus years ago. I remember going to some of the quaintest resale boutiques and treasure hunting. I have found so many great retro pieces, jewelry, handbags, dresses, pants, jumpsuits and the list truly goes on, but some things I have kept and somethings I have ended up donating because it no longer suited me. It truly is part of the cycle of my wardrobe, and has been interesting to see what I have actually kept through the years.
The necklace and leather envelope clutch that I am wearing are retro pieces that I keep in the archives of my wardrobe. I have had them for well over five years. And they have been so fun to accessorize with every so often, they are also just on target to add a bit of seventies punch to my fall/winter wardrobe.

Apple of my eye.

I seem to always have that one thing every year or season that captivates my attention more than anything else in my wardrobe, this year its this leather jacket. Floating in my head are about a million different ways for me to wear it and trust me I plan on putting it on so much that I will distress this leather myself.
After stalking websites and swooning over all different styles for about six months I battled with myself about biting the bullet and getting another leather jacket, needless to say I lost the battle ( or won... whichever way you'd like to view it).
While in NYC for my birthday last month I scored this jewel at the Zara on Broadway St., as far as my wardrobe pieces this jacket is the current "apple of my eye".
